The 7 Habits

Habit 1: Be Proactive (You are in charge of your mood and actions.  Take initiative!  Do it before you are told.  Be good even if no one else is--because it is the right thing to do.)

Habit 2: Begin with the End in mind (Have a plan and make meaningful contributions to your class, job, world, family.)

Habit 3: Put 1st things 1st (Work first, then play.  Don’t waste time.  Be organized so you can finish your plan.)

Habit 4: Think win-win (Try to find solutions that make everyone happy. Make deposits in other people’s emotional bank accounts--the kids say, "Be a bucket filler, not a bucket dipper.")

Habit 5: Seek first to understand, then to be understood (Listen before you talk, stand up for yourself while respecting others and learn to speak before others with confidence.)

Habit 6: Synergize (Work together and value everyone’s talents.)

Habit 7: Sharpen the saw (Keep healthy physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.)  If you were cutting wood, it would be hard to do that with a dull saw.  Habit 7 is important so that you can easily accomplish all the other habits!
